Project managers coached in last 10 Years
Here’s what I have been doing apart from watching movies and trying exotic food! As a Principal Consultant at PM Power I am involved in many offerings for competency development of Project Managers and Delivery Managers.
I started my career in Tata Burroughs Limited, Mumbai as a software engineer and moved on to leadership positions in software delivery management.
Subsequently, I worked for the ANZ Banking Group and led the growth of its captive software products and services organization in Bangalore supporting ANZ operations in multiple geographies; USA, UK, Middle East, Australia and New Zealand.
I have been involved in the academic world as adjunct faculty delivering full semester courses for MBA students. My larger goal is to help customers become learning organizations.
One more fun fact at the top of my head to finish my write up with- In school, I played kabbadi with gusto, given my king size advantage – till I tore a knee ligament! I toyed briefly with cricket – till I got kicked out since the rival team bowlers kept complaining to the umpire that when I batted, they could not make out where the stumps were (I am still referred to as “Big Shiv” – in school days, the adjective was somewhat less flattering!).
