Getting the Basics Right
PM@Work imparts essential concepts of software project management to entry level and practicing project managers. Typically offered as a 4-5 day program, the content and structure are customized to the needs of the business. For example, the content and structure would vary significantly for a software product company as compared to that meant for a software services company. Some organizations like to cover the Knowledge Areas and Processes of the PMI PMBOK, if they like the participants to work towards certification.
The program is application oriented. Nearly 40% of the program is devoted to quizzes, case studies, presentations and discussions of live project situations. The program could be stand-alone or could be combined with PM Power’s eLearning product, e-FCPM (eLearning Foundation Course in Project Management)
