Let's Dig More About Me !!
A fact about myself, prior to sharing professional pursuits, I chose to do my engineering in Bangalore since it allowed me to pursue my extreme interest in competitive basketball for a few more years. I read avidly across genres and like to experiment with food of all kinds.
I started my career as a software development engineer at Daimler Research and moved onto systems engineering at Novell and into the data storage world at NetApp in leadership positions, managing product development teams. I took a plunge into the fascinating world of data analytics for a brief period before venturing into an entrepreneurial partnership in the areas of product strategy and digital transformation.
Through my experience in product engineering, I engaged with several customers across verticals like aviation, banking, oil and gas and telecom to provide customized solutions. I have published several papers at conferences based on experiences in product engineering.
I actively advocate the “Thinking Digital” mindset by facilitating design thinking and service design to enable digitization of services & products.
I have been involved with several women-in-technology groups and conferences and have co-curated as well as co-chaired the Grace Hopper Celebration India for several years.
I do Product Management training and coaching at PM Power consulting.
Areas of interest include watching and experiencing the intersect of people and technology, Digital Transformation and critically examining learning and education. I love taking long walks either in the city and on holidays to savour solitude and enjoy the world around me, and encourage people to meet with me on walks.
